About SRA · Est. 2014

Engineers
first.
Educators
always.

We started in 2014 because there was nowhere in Australia for a kid who was serious about competition robotics to actually train. Twelve years later, we coach the country's most successful VEX teams out of ten venues across Sydney.

Where every program comes back to be tested.

How we coach

Four principles that shape every session.

01

Build, then theorise.

Students touch real hardware on day one. We teach concepts through what they're holding, not slides.

02

Coach the engineer, not the project.

Robots get built and broken. What lasts is the engineer who built them - that's who we're shaping.

03

Compete to compound.

Every regional, state and national event is feedback. We use it to push each cohort further than the last.

04

Small groups. Senior coaches.

Our coaches have been to the world stage. They lead every session in person - no rotating assistants.
